Activate the gateways you use. Webhooks:

Stripe → {APP_URL}/webhooks/stripe (STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET)

PayPal → {APP_URL}/webhooks/paypal (PAYPAL_WEBHOOK_ID)

Dodo → {APP_URL}/webhooks/dodo (DODO_WEBHOOK_SECRET)

Cashfree → {APP_URL}/webhooks/cashfree (client secret or CASHFREE_WEBHOOK_SECRET)

Razorpay → {APP_URL}/webhooks/razorpay (RAZORPAY_WEBHOOK_SECRET)

YooKassa → {APP_URL}/webhooks/yookassa (optional YOOKASSA_WEBHOOK_SECRET as ?secret=)

LigdiCash → {APP_URL}/webhooks/ligdicash (optional LIGDICASH_WEBHOOK_SECRET as ?secret=)

Merchant of record (Whop & Paddle)

Whop and Paddle act as the merchant of record (MoR). They collect the payment and remit tax in supported regions.

How tax works

Role	Behavior
Seller (you)	Pack price stays net. Krikkit does not add your Finance → Billing VAT on top of MoR checkouts.
MoR (Whop / Paddle)	Calculates tax at checkout from their account tax settings.
Invoice	Stores provider tax lines when the webhook / return payload includes them. Payment note states tax was collected by the MoR.

Checkout UI shows Tax calculated by Whop/Paddle at checkout instead of a seller VAT line item.

Paddle setup notes

Create an API key and a client-side token in Paddle Billing.

Set a default payment link / approved domain under Checkout → Checkout settings (required for overlay checkout).

Point notifications to {APP_URL}/webhooks/paddle.

Enable tax on your Paddle account — Krikkit sends prices with tax_mode: account so Paddle applies MoR tax.

Whop setup notes

Create an API key; company ID (biz_…) is optional if the key already resolves the company.

Point webhooks to {APP_URL}/webhooks/whop with a ws_… signing secret.

Tax is handled by Whop at purchase; Krikkit records tax from the payment payload when present.
